Today, our mission is more crucial than ever. As food, clothing, and shelter costs soar, our most vulnerable community members face overwhelming challenges. We want you to know that your incredible support over the years has made a significant impact. Thanks to your generosity and supplemented by grants, programs like our Pearlman Food Pantry, Family Stabilization Program, RIDE, Holocaust Survivor Assistance, counseling services, and our Community Rabbi continue to thrive, even amid adversity.
At Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando, we feel it as well. This past year we provided nutritious groceries that is equal to over 372,000 meals. That’s almost 25% more food than we’ve ever had to provide to those in need in our 47-year history!
Now grants that sustain these vital programs are at risk of being cut so we need your help!
Based on our current projections, we’ll exceed last year’s record number of people we helped as Central Florida families continue living in poverty or on the brink of poverty. Whether it be the increase of those needing food assistance in our Pearlman Food Pantry, to those seeking help coping with the stress of near poverty at our Counseling Services, working to improve their lives through our Family Stabilization Program workshops. And thanks to your ongoing support, JFS Orlando continues to nurture those in our community at record levels that depend on our family of services to survive.
And now double your impact! Starting April 7th through May 7th 15th, for every donation to JFS Orlando, The Weiner Family and The Winter Park Wealth Group will be generously matching dollar for dollar, up to $40,000 $50,000.
