JFS Orlando would like to give a warm welcome back to former employee, Juliette Wallens, as the Emergency Services Case Worker for the new COVID-19 rental assistance program, JFS Orlando CARES!

Originally born in Paris, Juliette has gone back and forth between France and Florida over the years. She has an AS in Music Production from Valencia College, a yoga certificate from Paris, and a BSW from the University of Central Florida. She has worked in a variety of areas, including the music production department at Valencia for a few years, managing a smoothie shop in Paris, and teaching yoga for the last 10 years. In all that she does, it’s clear she has a passion for helping others. “I love being able to help someone on multiple levels, the holistic approach,” she explains. “I really enjoy inspiring and motivating others to rise above themselves against all odds.”

Juliette first joined JFS in 2015 and left in 2017 to raise her little boy. This summer, when JFS began plans for its new emergency rental assistance program for those financially impacted by COVID-19, she gladly accepted the opportunity to reprise her role as an Emergency Services Case Worker. Since September, she’s been busy processing applications, speaking to clients, and sending financial assistance to so many in need. “It’s been amazing,” she says. “I’m thrilled to be able to help others during this crazy year!”

We’re very excited to have you back, Juliette! Thank you for all the hard work you’ve been doing over the past couple months. We know that you’re making a world of difference and lifting a tremendous burden off the shoulders of so many of our struggling neighbors right now. Thank you!
