Rabbi Arny on…Seeking Peace

“Seek peace, and pursue it!”
(Psalms 34:15)

In Jewish teaching, the pursuit of peace is a mitzvah, a holy obligation. It is something that must be actively pursued. We are called to seek it at home and outside the home.

To pro-actively seek peace, Jewish Family Services uses compassion and charity through our services. We seek peace of mind and heart with our clients through mental health counseling and our Community Rabbi’s spiritual guidance. We provide peace of mind and heart through emergency food assistance and medical transportation for seniors and the disabled.

At JFS Orlando, our goal is peace.
