A recent food donation from Sprouts Farmers Market at Colonial Plaza for JFS Orlando’s Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry
JFS Orlando’s Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry is proud to announce our partnership with the newest Sprouts Farmers Market location at Colonial Plaza, and since the beginning of December 2021, JFS is picking up food donations from this Sprouts location twice a week.
Currently, the Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry is stocked through a combination of food purchases from Second Harvest Food Bank, and food donations from the community, including other grocery partners like Fresh Market and Publix. Now, by adding donations from Sprouts at Colonial Plaza, the Pantry has a wider array of food.
“Our new partnership with Sprouts is truly a great opportunity for us to provide our clients with fresh food,” says Heather Petrusky, JFS Orlando Assistant Director. “It also comes at a perfect time when our community is experiencing a heightened need for food assistance. We are so thankful for all of our partnerships, as we work together to feed those in need in our community.”
Food pick-ups from our grocery partners, including Sprouts, are provided through the Second Harvest Food Bank’s Grocery Alliance Program.
