Personal hygiene items donated by UCF Hillel
Did you know that, not only does JFS Orlando’s Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry distribute food, but it also provides personal hygiene items for those who need it? We are so grateful to have partnered with UCF Hillel for their recent Valentine’s Day In-Kind Drive. Students collected items that are always in demand in the Pantry, including shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, and floss.
The drive was spearheaded by Paige Tepper, Vice President of Tikkun Olam on the UCF Hillel Student Executive Board. “As VP of Tikkun Olam, my job is to create events that impact the health and well-being of Hillel students and the surrounding community,” explained Paige. “One of the events I wanted to create was an in-kind donation drive for JFS Orlando because I really like what JFS does for the Orlando Community, and I always want to support a good cause.”
