Although healing from trauma is a gradual process that doesn’t happen overnight, you can try to cope with symptoms by challenging your sense of hopelessness, through volunteering or joining a support group. Take care of yourself through a healthy lifestyle, including meditation, a healthy diet, and getting enough sleep. Lastly, seek professional help, keeping in mind that trauma is not a weakness and it’s important to confront it to overcome it.
