Children enjoying JFS Orlando’s activities in the community

Did you see JFS Orlando at the recent local festivals around town?

On Sunday, December 4th, JFS hosted a balloon artist at Jewish Academy of Orlando’s Family Festival in the Maitland Community Park. Students and their families had the chance to stop by the JFS table to get a special balloon creation made by Stupendous Stu from American Balloon Décor, while getting to know JFS.

The following weekend, JFS sponsored the inflatable obstacle course at Shalom Orlando’s Hanukkah Festival on Sunday, December 11th. Families and children enjoyed climbing and maneuvering through the course. They also stopped by the JFS table to learn about the impact JFS has on the community with their family of services, and even played a few games of dreidel with our Director of Development, Aaron Bernstein.

The obstacle course was the perfect way to represent JFS Orlando’s family of services: No matter what obstacles you encounter in life, you can count on Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando being there to help with our counseling services, food assistance, and more!

Between the fun, food, and good company, both events were a hit! Plus, attendees had the chance to learn more about JFS and how they can get involved to help make an impact in our community.

JFS is proud to participate in these wonderful community events and thank Jewish Academy of Orlando and Shalom Orlando as we build a stronger community together!
