JFS Orlando is proud to be partnering once again with Sprouts Farmers Market for the grocer’s annual Grab ‘N’ Give program.
This holiday season, customers at both the Winter Park Corners and the Colonial Plaza Sprouts locations can purchase a pre-filled bag full of healthy food or hygiene items, which will then be donated to local hunger relief agencies, including JFS Orlando. So far the JFS Pearlman Food Pantry has already received 261 food bags and 21 hygiene bags!
“We began receiving Sprouts Grab ‘N’ Give bags at the end of October and they’ve already made a big impact,” explains JFS Program Coordinator, Christina Beauvoir. “The food bags are filled with groceries like mac & cheese, fruit snacks, and protein bars, and the hygiene bags usually have body wash, bar soap, and moisturizer. We are always grateful for donations from Sprouts and their customers, which add fresh and healthy items to give to our Pantry clients!”
The Sprouts Grab ‘N’ Give program and weekly grocer food pick-ups are made possible through Second Harvest Food Bank’s Grocery Alliance program.
