George & Madeline Wolly Community Leadership Award
Since 2018, Mayor Jerry Demings has led Orange County as the “Community of Tomorrow” by creating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusiveness. An Orlando native, Mayor Demings is a lifelong public servant and has a passion for working with organizations that support children and volunteers with several non-profit agencies. Under Mayor Demings leadership, Orange County has continued its years-long support for JFS Orlando and its Family of Services to help those most vulnerable in our community.
Michael McKee Volunteer Award
As the consummate volunteer, Rosalie Levy has been involved in many causes and organizations since arriving in Orlando in 1957, including JFS Orlando since its inception in 1978. A career educator and counselor in the Orange County Public schools, Rosalie continues to lead JFS’s Kobrin Family Scholarship committee and serves as the longest tenured member of our Board of Directors. Aside from her dedication to volunteerism, she is a proud great grandmother, mother, and friend to all who know her.
