It might be hot & sticky outside, so finding creative ways to get your exercise in while keeping physical activities enjoyable might seem daunting. Just access your inner child! Take the kids and run through the sprinklers, have an old-fashioned water balloon fight, or just take a dip in a pool. Try to exercise outdoors earlier in the morning or go out for an evening walk to enjoy the lower temperatures and longer daylight hours. Take advantage of the cool indoors by walking around the mall or a store you’ve never been to. Remember, it doesn’t have to be formal exercise. Any movement counts!
