Every dollar now delivers twice as much Hope to neighbors in need. The Pearlman, Minkow, and Bolton families have stepped up to match all donations to JFS Orlando’s Hope Challenge up to $25,000, but your gift must be made by October 5 to be doubled.
As we gather for the Jewish High Holy Days and celebrate the New Year of 5787, we are called on not only to reflect, but to identify urgent action that is needed for ourselves, our community, and our world.
Despite budget cuts and inflation, Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando is committed, as we have been for 47 years, to bringing hope, healing, and dignity to ALL through our family of services.
We need your help now more than ever for the following reasons:
- Our community’s need for support has soared by over 30% since 2023.
- We estimate that over 400,000 meals will be distributed in 2026 through our Pearlman Food Pantry.
- More families are seeking help to overcome financial crises and regain long-term stability.
- Demand for low-income senior and disabled adult transportation has nearly doubled.
- More unaffiliated members of our Jewish community are turning to our Community Rabbi for support during illness, crisis, loss, and end-of-life.
- More local Holocaust Survivors are relying on JFS Orlando for services that help them remain safe and independent.
